Alumni represent a critical component of Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania's entrepreneurial community. Wharton proudly counts, among its alumni ranks, some of the world’s most influential and innovative entrepreneurs, and the success of many of Wharton Entrepreneurship's activities relies greatly on the active engagement of this accomplished network.
Alumni engage regularly with students and one another when they: volunteer as judges for the Wharton Business Plan Competition; return to campus to speak in classes and at conferences; advise students through the Entrepreneur in Residence Program; mentor aspiring entrepreneurs on both formal and informal bases; hire students and alumni to work at their start-ups and high-growth enterprises; and connect to one another through social networks and at networking events.
