Richard Perlman is the founder and Executive Chairman of ExamWorks Group, Inc. the global leader in the independent medical exam industry. ExamWorks provides evidence-based medical evaluations to the property and casualty market for workers’ compensation, automotive, and general liability injury claims. Since its founding in 2008, the company has grown revenues to 1 billion dollars and is the market leader in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. Throughout his 45 year career, Perlman has acquired 140 companies.
Mr. Perlman is a 1968 graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from The Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1972.

Dorie Smith is the Interim CEO of Venture for America and an early-stage investor. Previously she founded Of Mercer, a womenswear brand of wear-to-work clothing. Among other publications, the company has been featured in The New York Times, InStyle, Forbes, and Business Insider. Of Mercer was recently acquired and Dorie now serves as Chairwoman.
Prior to starting Of Mercer, Dorie was a strategy consultant at Deloitte, focusing on innovation and growth strategy.
Dorie holds a BSE in Civil Engineering and Certificate in Visual Arts from Princeton University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Kathryn Stewart, WG’88

Kathryn Stewart is Founder and CIO at Cranbrook Capital, a Maryland based private investment firm. Cranbrook Capital invests in early stage emerging tech and private equity and has had several M&A and IPO exits. She was recently honored as one of DCA Live’s Power Women of DC Tech and is a member of several for profit and non-profit Boards. Prior to Cranbrook Capital, Kathryn was a Partner and Managing Director at Baltimore based Alex. Brown/Deutsche Bank.
She holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Andy Salamon is a General Partner at Material, an NYC-based venture capital fund and studio uniquely focused on company creation. With Material, Andy has co-founded Suma Brands in the ecommerce marketplace space, Kitchen to Kitchen, a virtual restaurant platform, and a stealth enterprise sales company. Before joining Material, Andy was a GP at Atomic Labs, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm. While there, he co-founded several technology-driven, operationally intensive startups including Hims, Terminal, Bungalow Living, and others, which together represent over $3B of enterprise value. Prior to Atomic, Andy was a venture capital investor with First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund, a senior manager at Bridgewater Associates, and an Expeditionary Combat Officer in the US Navy.
