Damon DeVito is an angel investor, entrepreneur, and adjunct lecturer. In 1997 DeVito founded Affinity Management, an owner, third party operator, and advisor to specialty hospitality properties & membership organizations. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business teaching applied entrepreneurship in the Batten Institute’s Venture Velocity class, and he works closely with UVA’s iLab where he is a mentor.
As an angel investor, DeVito has invested in or advised start-ups such as Foodio, 1DegreeApp, udu, Coulomb, and X-Mode Social (formerly Drunk Mode). DeVito is also an LP in two venture capital funds.
DeVito graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 with a dual degree: BA Economics from the College and BS Finance from Wharton. While at Penn, DeVito played an instrumental role in founding the Penn Student Federal Credit Union. DeVito is a member of the Wharton Sports Business Initiative.
