FALL 2020 UPDATE
Dear Entrepreneurship Community,
Our thoughts are with you and our global entrepreneurship family during this unprecedented coronavirus pandemic. Our team looks forward to when we can all come together in our new space in Tangen Hall. Below is the update on our plans for the Fall 2020 semester. Our decisions continue to be based on the guidance of the University of Pennsylvania via the Penn Coronavirus website and the CDC website. As the COVID-19 situation changes, we will post updates here about adjustments to our Venture Lab student programs.
As of July 1, Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship is now Venture Lab. Venture Lab marks a new era of entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania with the merging of several incubators and accelerators, including from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Wharton School. Venture Lab will set out to rebuild the entrepreneurship ecosystem, serving as the nexus of all startup activity at the University. Through Venture Lab, we aim to re-establish ties with all of the schools at Penn and create a robust network of strategic opportunities for student and alumni entrepreneurs.
As Venture Lab, we will be introducing new and revised programming throughout the 2020-2021 academic year. Our new branding and updated website will be launched in the next 12-14 months as we fully transition into our broader role as an entrepreneurship and innovation hub across Penn.
As the world changes, staying connected is more important than ever. Our new digital community via Slack allows all of us to stay connected even when we’re apart, and we encourage you to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for access. We’ll continue to support each other and our global entrepreneurship community and, as always, we hope you remain safe and healthy.
