Startup Challenge Semifinalist Acention

Acention is a free-to-play mobile gaming platform where users make money by beating other users in multiplayer games.

How did you come up with this idea?

As gamers, we were frustrated with the current offering of mobile games and the manipulative tactics that they use to pressure players into making in-app purchases.

How will your venture change the world?

Acention is disrupting the mobile gaming industry by providing a business model that rewards users for playing instead of penalizing users for not spending money on in-app purchases.

Acention was a Fall 2017 member of VIP-X. Read their VIP-X profile!
